Congratulations
Chaz Matthews Greytown, Daryl Pickering Carterton, Cody Cunningham Tuhirangi have been named in the New Zealand Heartland U19’s team to compete against ITM Cup U19’s teams in a week long tournament in Taupo on 26th September.
This is great opportunity for the boys from the Heartland areas to get recognised by the bigger union and also push for New Zealand under 20’s for next year
Sam Tufuga Piopa from Rathkeale College is one of 51 boys who have been named to attend a development camp as selectors prepare to name the New Zealand Schools and New Zealand Schools Barbarians squads to play Fiji and Australia in Porirua next month.
The camp to be held in Rotorua starts on Saturday 20 September with the New Zealand Schools and New Zealand Schools Barbarians squads to be announced on 23 September.
Sam has achieved a lot this year and we hope it continues this weekend good luck.
