Part-time Position Available: Board Secretary
The Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union (WBRU) would like to appoint an experienced board secretary for both the WBRU and the new Wairarapa Multi-Sports Stadium Trust (WMSST).
The WBRU meets the first Tuesday of each month from 6.30pm and the WMSST every second Tuesday of each month from 9am.
It is expected the role will be around 8-10 hours per months and works closely with the Chair of the WBRU and WMMST to ensure good governance at board meetings, timely distribution of reports and minute recording.
Remuneration: A set board meeting fee will be paid to the successful applicant
Qualifications or Experienced: The successful applicant needs to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, timely in their approach, exceptional writing and correspondence skills and a good knowledge of how boards operate.
