The Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union (WBRU) has received a formal appeal from the Pioneer Rugby Club regarding the judiciary decision made on 11th September 2018 over turning the result of the promotion relegation game played on 4th August 2018.
The appeal will be heard over the coming weeks by a new Appeal Panel.
All appeals are conducted independently from the Council of Clubs and the WBRU.
We understand there is a high level of public interest amongst the rugby community on this matter and we would like to assure clubs, the process for all the appeals and hearings, have been completed in a timely manner to date.
The Appeal Panel’s decision will be communicated to both clubs as soon as possible.
The WBRU will not being making any further comment until the appeal process is being completed.
