Employment Opportunity – Women’s Rugby Development Officer.

Fixed term contract, 20 hours per week

August 2019 to 30th June 2019.

The purpose of Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union is to lead, grow, support and promote rugby in the region. The organisation is responsible for both the delivery of community rugby as well as representative teams. In partnership with the local clubs it contributes to the fabric of the local community by providing safe and enjoyable sporting opportunities. Recognised as innovators and leaders within heartland rugby.

Through this Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union is striving to increase female participation numbers through the development of players, volunteers and administrators within the Wairarapa region. By breaking down barriers and concentrating on female values we will ensure that a sustainable structure for female participation is in place at all levels of rugby.

To enable this Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union is looking to place a Women’s Rugby Development Officer.

This exciting position would suit someone who loves a challenge and has a background in programme delivery.
