“ABSOLUTELY EVERYBODY”

Coaches & Managers PLEASE note – Referees are being remaindered of the NZRU Directive that it is mandatory (…read compulsory … ) for ALL PLAYERS at every level of rugby in NZ to WEAR a MOUTHGUARD.

The NZRU DSLVs directs that the Referee MUST send a player from the field to get a mouthguard if that player is seen to be without one – if sent from the field this player cannot return to play for 10 minutes and cannot be replaced or substituted for these 10 minutes.

Can we ask all Coaches and Managers to take the responsibility to ENSURE all their players have a mouthguard BEFORE the game – this is a player and team responsibility.

There are no “if’s” or “but’s” – No Mouthguard = No Game for that player !!

PLEASE don’t put it back on the Referee who is between a rock and a hard place …

What year did Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union form?

Dead Ball Charlie’s Highlights

What a day on Monday – the bush boys did us proud and a fantastic crowd – 1,000 apparently.

Hawkes Bay have confirmed they are coming back next year!

What a Premiership 2018 – can anyone guess who will be in the top 4.

Well done to former Wai Bush player Tom Hullena who was honoured by the Queen last weekend – top man and a top school.
