Dead Ball Charlie’s Highlights of the week

deadballCan’t believe this weekend the new turf and the stadium will be up and running. It’s been a train station down at the Park over the last 6 months and DBC can’t wait for the first ball to be kicked.

Let’s give a big hand to the contractors, Higgins, Polytan, Taylors Electrical, Riggs Zschokke, Electra Fence, Daytech, Robbie Rimene, Farry McLeod, Terry Fleet, Corey Electrical, Sun Alliance, Masterton District Council, Wairarapa Scrap Metal, Logan Gold Walsh, The Sign Factory and the Wairarapa Supporters Club with their new outdoor deck.

And what about those organisations that got behind the project – Trust House, Masterton District Council, Lottery Board, Eastern & Central Community Trust, Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union, Wairarapa United, New Zealand Rugby Union and Capital Football.

To you all
“Our Town – Just Brilliant”
