WBRU Game Development Manager – Cameron Hayton

It is with great pleasure to announce Cameron Hayton will be joining the Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union in the new role as WBRU Game Development Manager.

The Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union is working towards setting new goals and increasing participation of the game at a local level where a shift towards supporting our key stakeholders, clubs and schools becomes a central focus of our investment.

The last five years has seen the WBRU retire significant debt and invest in a state of the art sporting facility at Trust House Memorial Park.

With a solid platform in place and positive support within the community, the union’s overall focus for the next five years will be on participation and strong healthy clubs.

Part of this a new role as “Game Development Manager” is to connect all aspects of our game and drive investment in our clubs, players, coaches and administrators.

Cameron is well known throughout the community in his role with Sport Wellington Wairarapa and has played over 50 games for the Heartland Wairarapa Bush side.

Cameron will start with the rugby union on March 18.
