After a review between the WBRU JAB, and the WBRU, a number new and exciting initiatives have been agreed for 2021 and 2022.

As part of the review and new strategy, it has been agreed that an Independent Chair for JAB rugby would be appointed to work closely with the JAB, Clubs, WBRU Staff and the WBRU Board for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

If you have a passion for junior rugby, a good understanding of junior sport and the positive impact rugby has on our clubs and community, we would like to hear from you.

Role:

  • Chair the monthly Junior Rugby meetings (approximately 10 a year)
  • Provide governance and operational guidance for all our stakeholders
