Coaches & Managers PLEASE note \u2013 Referees are being remaindered of the NZRU Directive that it is mandatory (\u2026read\u00a0compulsory \u2026 )
\nfor ALL PLAYERS at every level of rugby<\/u> in NZ to WEAR a MOUTHGUARD.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The NZRU DSLVs directs that the Referee MUST send a player from the field to get a mouthguard if that player is seen to be without one \u2013 if sent from the field this player cannot return to play for 10 minutes and cannot be replaced or substituted for these 10 minutes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Can we ask all Coaches and Managers to take the responsibility to ENSURE all their players have a mouthguard BEFORE the game \u2013 this is a player and team responsibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are no \u201cif\u2019s\u201d or \u201cbut\u2019s\u201d \u2013 No Mouthguard = No Game for that player !!<\/strong><\/p>\n

PLEASE don\u2019t put it back on the Referee who is between a rock and a hard place \u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n
