New Scoreboard

It is with great pleasure to announce a new scoreboard has been sourced for the 2021 season.

Back in 2019, the scoreboard was hit by lightning and blew the circuits. WBRU was in motions of replacing the scoreboard in 2020 when COVID-19 and the plans were put on hold. Eketahuna Rugby Club came to the rescue and provided WBRU with a temporary replacement.

However, an order has been put in place for the new scoreboard which will feature the ability to place sponsors names up during the game and messages.

We are not giving up on the old scoreboard. It will be sent to Auckland for an in-depth analysis of its circuits and see if there is a chance of rescue, though we have been told they are very slim.
