Judicial Hearing – 10/7/20
The Marist Rugby Club self reported a premier team sheet error after their win against Carterton premiers on 4th July 2020.
A judicial hearing was held on Friday 10th July 2020.
The Judical Panel decision was that Marist would be deducted 3 competition points. The result of the game which was a Marist win 16 to 15, will stand. Carterton will retain their 1 point gained from the game. There were two further sanctions imposed and the WBRU will disclose these sanctions next week after the formal papers have been sent to Marist Rugby Club.
The new competition sanctions for breaches were used for the first time by the Judicial Panel since their adoption by the Council of Clubs earlier on in the year.
