New Zealand Heartland XV Vacancy – Team Physiotherapist

The New Zealand Heartland XV is a national team selected from players playing their rugby in the twelve Heartland Provincial Unions.

The 2021 campaign will offer a short but concentrated opportunity for players and team management to work and play for a national representative team for a single fixture in early December.

New Zealand Rugby are currently recruiting for the following position:

Team Physiotherapist

We are seeking a suitably qualified physiotherapist who has a proven record working with and supporting top level athletes or sports teams. The successful candidate will also provide muscle therapy treatment and advice. Knowledge of the Heartland Championship competition players, coaches, and Unions is essential.

The successful candidates for the above role will have been part of the coaching staff or management team of a Heartland Championship team or a team of equivalent standing within the NZ Rugby environment.

For this role, a strong empathy for the values which underpin rugby in New Zealand will need to be demonstrated, as will high levels of integrity, passion, and a competitive drive.

The role will be on a fixed term contract, paid a per day rate for the number of days assembled.
