Purpose of the Club Relationship Manager
Wairarapa Bush Rugby Union in partnership with the Te Hiringa Hauora and Tu Ora Health and been providing services and support for all our members and clubs regarding alcohol awareness and mental well-being.
The What About You campaign and services have been fully embraced by our members so this role is about building on the current relationships and a continuation of our support.
After four very successful years, Peter Debney has retired and we are looking to appoint a new Club Relationship Manager.
This a part-time fixed term contract (approximately 5-10 hours per week) from March 2023 to August 2023. The hours are flexible and will vary from week to week, depending on the promotional activity in place.
There will be a high level of interaction with our clubs and from time to time presentations to groups.
We are looking to appoint someone who is passionate our game, has empathy and understanding of how rugby clubs provide not only an excellent sporting experience but a community and family offering for all.
If you have a good understanding of the benefits of community well-being (child protection policies and Health and Safety), have a flexible approach to work and the ability to travel around the Wairarapa from time to time to our clubs, we are keen to talk to you.
