The WBRU Board invites applications for the position of Head Coach of the Copthorne Wairarapa Bush Heartland team for 2025.
This is an opportunity to enhance the development and success of Wairarapa Bush rugby, in a province focussed on improving our local players.
Wairarapa Bush has a passionate and talented pool of players and coaches. The Heartland Coach will need to identify and develop programs for our players, work closely with our club coaches to ensure the individual performance of the players and the collective Heartland team performs at the highest level consistently.
Our key attributes a successful candidate will need to demonstrate are;
- A strong senior rugby coaching background with a personal passion for continuing to develop,
- A proven track record in creating a winning culture,
- An affinity to the region and its people,
- An understanding of what is required to compete at a national level.
