New Zealand Rugby are currently recruiting the following positions:

Head Coach

Candidates for this position must have competent skills in developing game plan and patterns of play suited to the quality of players available for selection. An appreciation of the importance of technical components through specific analysis is critical. Planning, organising and interpersonal skills are imperative, as is the ability to articulate and deliver an overall vision for the management team and players is essential.

The Head Coach will play a key role in the selection process as well as organising and building the campaign programme in the lead up to games.

Assistant Coach

The assistant coach is required to support and contribute to the coaching, have a thorough technical understanding, and ability to work within a coaching team. The Assistant Coach will also play a key role in the selection process and assist the Head Coach in administrative and organising duties in the lead up to and during the campaign.

It is desirable that both the Coach and Assistant Coach are currently coaching in the Heartland Championship

The 2015 campaign is to be confirmed but will most likely be in the month of November, candidates will need to be available for approximately 10-14 days.

For both of these roles a strong empathy for the values which underpin rugby in New Zealand will need to be demonstrated, as will high levels of integrity, compassion, and a competitive drive.
