WEEK 4 WAIRARAPA BUSH CLUB SEASON
This week, we FINALLY see the whole of our rugby community underway for 2020 with our Junior rugby, Secondary School girl’s rugby and our College rugby donning the boots for the first time. Welcome back to you all, and lets enjoy this weekend together.There was a number of significant milestones last weekend, however we would like to congratulate Tavita Issac for becoming a Life member of the Greytown Rugby Club while at the same time putting the finals touches together for the Greytown come from behind win over Martinborough.
We have some great news on participation and playing numbers. With our season just really beginning, we have already exceeded our post-Covid estimation of over 2,000 registered players. With our Rippa programs yet to start in the primary schools, not only has there been a boost to our crowds and quality of rugby to date, our players numbers look extremely promising.
Remember to “Watch Out For Your Mates” and make sure you get home safely.
